“ Let me start by saying, THIS FOOD HAS NO REASON BEING THIS GOOD!!! Growing up our families owned Thai restaurants so I'm very particular about my Thai (Asian food in general). This tasted like home. I think the best feature for myself is that the curries are made with half and half and not coconut milk. I'm allergic to coconut so it was always hard having others Thai food. The pineapple curry was so yummy. It was full of flavor and very filling. The spring rolls were full of filling and not just wrap. The sweet chili fried rice was also a good sweet and spicy. Next time I'm going to try the pho because I seen it on someone else's table and it smelt so good. The setting of the restaurant is very quaint and nice. Not too big, but not small. A perfect spot to sit and have lunch if you want some. The prices are very reasonable for the area. I think they have some of the best prices if I'm being honest. Everything is quality and they are halal certified as well. The service, cannot forget that, was amazing too. The person at the counter really helps you with ordering if you're new to this type of food or confused of what to eat today! Please support this business, I promise you'll love it! ”
“ We were 3+1 kid for lunch after we finished Costco Shopping. (We aren't frequent Costco shoppers) I got Masammon Curry with Tofu - forgot to take a picture but loved the taste of it. We also got curry fried rice & pineapple curry ramen. We started with Veggie Spring Rolls! The service was fast here and taste was good! Place is well kept and clean. It's setup like a fast food place - typical size of a subway but nicer version! ”
“ Great and easy order at the counter place. Pad thai was solid!! Very fast service. Seating is kind of limited so that's something to keep in mind! ”
“ Delicious took home everyone loved the food! Quick and easy turnaround Brought menus home to put in each car for a quick and easy dinner ”
“ Deciding on dinner is always difficult for me. Do I prepare a meal with the just-purchased ingredients in my fridge or do I pick up something near home? Oftentimes, I get out of work so late, I'm in no mood to do anything but stuff my face. That's where Basil Bowl comes in. It's new to the neighborhood, taking over a Sy Thai to-go location. Sad. However, it is a fine replacement. This place offers ramen, pho, and Thai so I knew I would find something I would love. At first, I considered the Pad Thai, my go-to at Thai places. However, as soon as I spotted the Pineapple Curry Ramen, decision made. And to top that off, I selected the roasted duck, my favorite protein. That is not to say that I wasn't tempted by the beef and pork pho, pad se ew, or any of the curries. Next time, I promised myself. While waiting for my meal, I noted the light coming into the building from two walls of windows, the bright, lime green walls and fluorescent orange chairs, and the wood furnishings and accents. The restaurant is not large, but there were more than enough seats for the dine-in customers. About half of the people coming in placed to-go orders. To start, I had the crab rangoon and the spring rolls. The former was mostly cream cheese and not the perfect balance of crab and cheese I usually prefer. It should have been called cheese rangoons. However, the spring rolls were satisfyingly crispy with a flavorful filling. I have my eye on the gyoza or the bang bang shrimp the next time I'm here. Moving on, the ramen included pineapple chunks, of course, but also red and green bell peppers, chili peppers, tomatoes, and onions. The noodles were tender, chewy, and delicious in a spicy and creamy broth. The roasted duck was lovely. I would have loved more of it. The portions are nicely sized so I had more than enough to take home for another meal. Although this is a casual dining restaurant (think Panera), the staff was helpful and kind. ”
“ First time trying this place. Nice clean decor. Extensive menu with lots of vegetarian options. Lunch special also available. Prices are not cheap per say but portions are big. The guy at the counter was also a cook. A bit grumpy may be having a bad day Ordered Pad Thai with chicken medium spice was not too hot but enough heat. Also a Bang Bang shrimp as an appetizer. Good amount of shrimp it was lightly battered and crispy. Solid food for a quick bite or a carry out. ”
